Once you have the sound you want to use on your music, press f7 to bring up the piano roll. I recommend Sytrus if your new because you can browse several dozen unique sounds easily by left clicking on the the small window above main that looks like a plug or by using the hard to see keys to change the sytrus presets which are in the upper right above the word fx. Right click on any sound listed and choose insert, then select either SimSynth or Sytrus from the list.īoth have several options for fine tuning the sound further and you can test the sound on the small keyboard that pops up when you choose either sound.
